This role

We’re a team of global innovators, who cherish diverse perspectives that fuel our mission; to simplify the world of work for SMBs worldwide. As the Account Executive, you will be focused on winning new business in the SMB market, speaking to C-level and HR executives across a wide range of business verticals.

You will pitch, demo, present, and close deals end-to-end, with the majority (70%) of your leads coming from our energetic SDR team. This being said, a drive to generate your own leads and the ability to manage your own sales pipeline is a must.

Your key focus areas will be

• Winning new business in the Canadian market
• Managing a high-volume, end-to-end sales cycle from prospect to close
• Partnering closely with our SDR team to maximize opportunity conversion
• Delivering a consistent monthly quota through high-quality pipeline management.

This will include

• Pitching, demoing and closing new business across a wide range of verticals
• Presenting to and negotiating with C-suite and senior HR executives
• Collaborating closely with SDRs to qualify and progress inbound and outbound leads
• Maintaining a strong, accurate sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM
• Hitting monthly revenue targets through consultative, value-based selling
• Contributing to a culture of learning, energy and high performance within the sales team.

Who you are

To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way – operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring:

• 3–4 years of experience as an Account Executive in a B2B SaaS environment, with a proven track record of managing and closing full sales cycles
• Experience selling HR tech, Payroll, Time & Attendance (T&A), Learning Management Systems (LMS), or other complex B2B SaaS solutions is highly desirable
• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment
• Experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder, technical SaaS solutions
• Experienced in selling to SMBs
• Confident in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
• Proven track record of success and consistently exceeding sales targets
• Hungry, curious, tenacious & a team player
• Bilingual in French and English (verbal and written) is an asset.
