This role focuses on innovation, driving value, and excellence in the Defence sector.

In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in Defence Supply Chains, Procurement, Cost Reduction, Operations Improvement, and Digital Transformation to deliver strategic insights and lead complex projects. Your work will enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support our clients' digital innovation and procurement transformation journeys.

This position is based in London, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, or Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver procurement transformation projects, including designing and implementing strategies, operating models, processes, systems, and tools.
• Develop and execute category strategies for both indirect and direct categories across the procurement lifecycle.
• Conduct cost analyses to identify savings and develop cost management strategies.
• Analyze operational practices for improvements to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
• Guide clients through digital transformation, identifying automation, data analytics, and advanced technology opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, lead project teams, and mentor junior staff.

Candidate Profile

Experience in defence, focusing on supply chain, procurement, cost reduction, manufacturing, operations, and digital transformation. Proven success in delivering projects in consulting or industry roles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency with ERP systems, data analytics, and source-to-pay solutions. Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
