Scrum Master (x2 positions)

£400 per day pay (inside IR35)

6-month contract.

Location: Manchester or Northampton (2 days per week onsite in one of these locations)

Client & Project: We collaborate with a global bank that is seeking a new Scrum Master to join the Software Engineering team.

Key points: As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies.

Your day-to-day activities will include coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team or Teams, removing obstacles that hinder progress, and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

You will identify and report progress through appropriate metrics.

You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.

Master proficiency in Agile Project Management is required. Expert proficiency in Scrum is recommended. Master proficiency in Agile Process Coaching and expert proficiency in Agile Methods (ADM for Distributed Agile Development) are suggested.

• Encourage innovation and adaptability by fostering an environment open to new ideas and approaches.
