We’re now looking for an ambitious Account Executive to convert qualified opportunities into new customers and play a central role in our next stage of growth.

The Role

This is a field-based closing role focused primarily on attending sales meetings, delivering compelling product demonstrations and winning new business.

Our SDR team will fill your diary with qualified, pre-booked appointments, giving you the opportunity to focus on understanding each prospect’s needs, demonstrating the value of kyco and closing deals.

During quieter periods, you’ll also be expected to generate opportunities and fill your own calendar through proactive outreach, networking and prospecting.

You’ll spend much of your time meeting prospective clients on the road, so you’ll need to be organised, commercially focused and comfortable managing the full sales process from discovery through to close.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend qualified, pre-booked sales meetings arranged by kyco’s SDR team
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand each prospect’s needs, challenges and commercial goals
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations tailored to the prospective client
• Manage the sales process from initial meeting through proposal, negotiation and close
• Handle questions and objections confidently
• Build strong relationships with prospects and key decision-makers
• Maintain an accurate and well-managed sales pipeline using our CRM and internal tools
• Follow up consistently to keep opportunities moving forward
• Generate your own leads and appointments when additional pipeline activity is required
• Travel regularly to client sites across the assigned territory
• Work closely with the SDR and wider commercial teams to improve conversion rates
• Represent kyco professionally and deliver an excellent prospective-customer experience
• Achieve agreed revenue, activity and conversion targets

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in B2B sales, ideally in an Account Executive, field sales or closing role
• A proven ability to progress opportunities and close new business
• Confidence delivering presentations or product demonstrations
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, resilient and results-driven approach
• Excellent organisation and diary-management skills
• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify what matters to each client
• Confidence using CRM systems, Google Workspace and other digital tools
• The ability to learn new technology quickly and explain it clearly
• Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings
• A full UK driving licence

Experience in software, hospitality technology or venue-focused sales would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
