QA Engineer
Job Description
- Assist in building tools and frameworks for automated testing.
- Write test plans and design test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Work closely with the development team to ensure test coverage
Required Skills
- Automated testing tools
- Source-code control systems
- JIRA
- Agile Software Development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required; Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) a plus
- Must have a passion for customers and a commitment to quality
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is a must
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle
