THE ROLE

As the Principal of Business Development for Insurance within Financial Services, you will drive the strategy, financial performance, and growth of our core Insurance sub vertical. Whether focused on Property & Casualty (P&C), Life & Annuities, or Reinsurance, you will serve as the owner for your sub vertical by owning the booking targets and orchestrating strategic vertical alliances.

You will accelerate our market momentum by architecting and executing high-impact, joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies with our top-tier resellers and hyperscaler partners.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical innovation and market needs. You will determine objectives to address critical industry challenges including claims modernization, actuarial and risk analytics, regulatory reporting (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17), and AI-driven underwriting, and act as a principal advisor to both our internal teams and external customers.

This role differentiates itself by shifting the traditional partner relationship into a true co-selling engine, directly driving pipeline and bookings for Insurance solutions via Partner-Sourced business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the Pipeline & Financial Performance: Own the booking targets and financial performance for the sub vertical by developing and executing a multi-year strategic growth plan. Drive and scale the overarching pipeline and bookings targets across the ecosystem, establishing clear qualification criteria and pipeline visibility.
• Define the Insurance Value Proposition: Define and articulate the value proposition for Insurance to drive growth and establish Everpure as the industry leader.
• Architect & Execute Joint GTM Plans: Author and launch strategic go-to-market plans with priority partners, aligning internal cross-functional teams (Partner Account Teams, Core Sales, Alliances, Marketing) to unlock high-potential Insurance customer accounts and activate new revenue streams.
• Orchestrate Strategic Alliances: Orchestrate strategic vertical alliances and operationalize relationships with key partners to secure reference architectures and joint go-to-market motions.
• Enable and Mobilize the Partner Ecosystem: Equip sales teams and partners with the specialized tools, training, and go to market guides they need to successfully position and sell vertical solutions. Train and align Partner representatives ensuring they can effectively articulate our value proposition, economic differentiation, and technical sizing for insurance regulatory and data compliance (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17, GDPR).
• Drive Joint Demand Gen & Thought Leadership: Act as a spokesperson for your sub vertical vision in customer meetings, industry events, analyst briefings, and media opportunities. Build credibility as a principal advisor by shaping the industry narrative around intelligent data foundations and enterprise AI adoption in Insurance.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from any office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Insurance & Alliance Expertise: Proven success leading strategic business development or alliance management within the technology sector, with a deep understanding of insurance carriers' core systems, actuarial and claims workflows, cloud economics, and the specific regulatory, data, and compliance needs of the Insurance sector (Solvency II, IFRS 17, GDPR, etc).
• Cross-Functional Influence & Execution: Develop and execute the global strategy for your segment in partnership with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering teams. A track record of balancing high-level strategy with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" execution mindset, showing a strong ability to build trust and influence executive leaders across partner organizations.
• Agile Collaboration & Communication: Outstanding business acumen and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and multi-cultural, global environment.
• Location & Travel: We operate in a hybrid/field-based model. You will be expected to work effectively from a regional corporate office in a key NAM market, with the ability to travel 25–40% across the region as business needs require.
