Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 35 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and performance management activities in the New York City office.
This role requires an individual who can work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and effectively support a fast-paced workforce comprised of both internal and contingent staff.
This position will report to our Midtown office. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm. Armand Corporation has adopted a hybrid work system. Therefore, the current workweek schedule is a minimum of three days of work at the office and two days remote.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, demonstrates sound judgment, communicates professionally, and takes ownership of responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of Human Resources and/or Recruiting experience.
Experience conducting interviews and evaluating candidates.
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience supporting contingent staffing, professional services, engineering, construction management, or project management organizations. (Preferred)Experience with JazzHR, Paychex, or similar systems.SHRM-CP, PHR, or related HR certification.
