The Opportunity

A Level B academic is expected to make contributions to the teaching effort of the university and to carry out activities to maintain and develop her/his scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline.

The appointee will be expected to contribute to curriculum development, supervise Honours and postgraduate students, and undertake high-quality research in Film, Television and Screen Studies and/or related fields. Experience in filmmaking and/or the teaching of filmmaking is desirable but not essential.

Evidence of successful grant applications leading to publication outcomes, and/or experience in collaborative or multidisciplinary research, would be an added advantage. The appointee should ideally demonstrate a research focus aligned with the School’s strengths in Southeast Asia or Asia more broadly.
