CNC Path Lab in Delhi is urgently seeking a skilled Cytogenetic Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform complex laboratory tests to detect genetic disorders and anomalies. As a Cytogenetic Lab Technician at CNC Path Lab, you will be responsible for handling various laboratory tasks, including preparing samples, conducting tests, and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Your role will be essential in diagnosing and supporting the treatment of genetic disorders. The ideal candidate must be experienced in operating both electrical and non-electrical lab equipment and comfortable handling potentially hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and analyze samples in the CNC Path Lab to detect genetic disorders.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring smooth functionality and safety.
• Ensure all test procedures are followed as per protocols, maintaining the highest level of accuracy.
• Record and document test results, ensuring all data is updated in the laboratory management system.
• Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of lab instruments to maintain precision.
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to report findings and support diagnoses.
• Follow all safety and quality standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Handle hazardous and potentially dangerous substances, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of specimens and laboratory materials.
• Participate in quality control procedures to ensure the reliability and consistency of results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Valid laboratory technician license to work in a certified CNC Path Lab.
• Proven experience as a Lab Technician, particularly in a cytogenetic or diagnostic lab setting.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (both electrical and non-electrical).
• Ability to handle potentially hazardous materials safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing lab tests and reporting results.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with health and safety protocols in a clinical lab environment like CNC Path Lab.
