The Senior Lab Technician will handle advanced diagnostic tests, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure quality assurance procedures to provide accurate results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of lab tests with accuracy, adhering to Dr Lal PathLabs’ standards and protocols.
• Prepare and process samples for clinical testing, ensuring timely and efficient workflows.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, following Dr Lal PathLabs’ maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the laboratory environment.
• Record and document test results accurately in the lab information system.
• Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot any issues with laboratory equipment.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior lab technicians as needed.
• Handle patient queries and offer assistance on sample collection procedures.
• Manage inventory of lab supplies and initiate procurement as needed.
• Collaborate with the Dr Lal PathLabs team to maintain a high standard of lab services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, ideally with exposure to advanced diagnostics.
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
• Good communication skills for interacting with patients and team members at Dr Lal PathLabs.
• Proficiency in sample handling, preparation, and processing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with lab equipment independently.
