Full Circle Electronics, a Tide Rock Company, is a rapidly growing leader in IT asset disposition (ITAD) and electronics recycling. We are seeking a transformational Chief Operating Officer to help lead the business through its next phase of growth.
With operations across the United States and LATAM, the organization is scaling quickly through both organic growth and acquisitions, creating a unique opportunity for an experienced operations executive to make a significant impact.
This is not a maintenance role. Full Circle is looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments and can build structure, drive accountability, and professionalize operations while maintaining growth momentum.
There is a strong preference for this person to be based in the greater Chicago area, but we will also consider candidates in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas, and Atlanta.
The Opportunity
As COO, you will lead all operational functions across the company including: e-manufacturing, recycling, logistics, and processing facilities. You will oversee roughly 75% of the company's employee base and be responsible for driving operational excellence, safety, scalability, and profitability across multiple sites.
You will partner closely with an accomplished CEO and leadership team to improve performance, integrate acquisitions, standardize processes, and build the operating foundation required for continued expansion.

What You'll Do
- Lead operations across multiple facilities throughout North and Latin America
- Drive operational excellence, productivity, safety, quality, and cost performance
- Implement scalable systems, processes, and KPIs across the organization
- Lead logistics, transportation, inventory management, and supply chain operations
- Oversee facility performance, workforce planning, equipment utilization, and capacity management
- Champion Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and operational best practices
- Partner with compliance teams to ensure adherence to environmental and industry standards, including R2 and e-Stewards certifications
- Support integration of bolt-on acquisitions and operational consolidation initiatives
- Develop and mentor a high-performing operations leadership team
- Manage budgets, improve margins, and drive EBITDA growth through operational improvements
- Foster a culture of accountability, execution, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- We are interested in proven operational leaders who have successfully led multi-site organizations through periods of growth, transformation, and operational scaling.
- Ideal candidates may come from:ITAD and electronics recycling organizations
- Industrial services businesses
- Manufacturing, processing, distribution, logistics, or other operationally intensive environments
- Private equity-backed middle-market manufacturing
- Multi-site operations leadership roles such as COO, VP Operations, SVP Operations, GM or Division President
Required Experience
- 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience
- Proven success leading multi-site operations with large employee populations
- Strong background in process improvement, operational excellence, and organizational transformation
- Experience implementing scalable processes, systems, and performance metrics
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and professionalize growing organizations
- Strong financial and operational acumen with experience managing budgets and operational KPIsAbility to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution
Preferred Experience
- Experience within ITAD, electronics recycling, reverse logistics, recycling, or adjacent industries
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma expertise
- ERP implementation experience
- Experience integrating acquisitions
- Familiarity with environmental compliance frameworks, R2, e-Stewards, ISO 14001, or related certifications
