Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Assistant with a focus on TikTok and Instagram influencer collaboration. The position is based in the Greater Chicago Area.

The Social Media Assistant will be responsible for creating engaging social media content, managing influencer partnerships, executing social media marketing strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and staying updated on trends to ensure relevance and alignment with the company’s branding.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Script, shoot, and edit high-quality TikTok videos and Reels using CapCut to promote our wholesale products and brand.
• Account Management: Manage daily postings, write engaging captions, and optimize hashtags on TikTok and Instagram.
• Influencer Marketing: Identify, contact, and build relationships with relevant TikTok and Instagram influencers for product gifting and brand collaborations.
• Trend Tracking: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, viral sounds, and industry updates to keep our content fresh and relevant.
• Community Engagement: Respond to comments, DMs, and inquiries on social channels to foster a community around our wholesale brand.

• Proven experience in creating and editing vertical short-form videos (TikTok/Reels) specifically using CapCut.
• Influencer Outreach: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively pitch to and manage relationships with digital creators.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to review social media metrics and understand what drives engagement and growth.
• Platform Native: Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram algorithms, features, and current beauty trends.
• On-site Availability: Ability to work full-time on-site in the Greater Chicago Area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in E-commerce, Beauty, or Wholesale (B2B) industries.
