We're looking for a creative, organized, and culturally aware Social Media Intern to help bring that story to life across Instagram.
You'll work directly with the founder to help capture, create, schedule, and manage content across our social channels.
Responsibilities include
- Capturing photo and video content at Memento and around NYC
- Editing Instagram Reels, Stories, and feed content
- Creating engaging content aligned with Memento's brand voice and aesthetic
- Scheduling and publishing posts through social media management tools
- Monitoring comments, DMs, and community engagement
- Identifying trends, sounds, and cultural moments relevant to our audience
- Assisting with content planning and monthly content calendars
- Supporting influencer, creator, and brand partnership content when needed
- Helping maintain a consistent visual identity across all channels
- Tracking content performance and reporting insights
Who You Are
- Passionate about social media, culture, storytelling, and branding
- Active Instagram user with a strong understanding of current content trends
- Comfortable filming content on an iPhone
- Familiar with Instagram Reels, Stories, and content creation best practices
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and visual aesthetics
- Excited by startups, creative businesses, and brand building
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus
- Photography or videography experience is a bonus
