Job Description

Get to Know the TeamAs a full-stack engineering team, we have end-to-end ownership of our ecosystem, spanning databases, backend services, and client applications.

Get to Know the RoleWe are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer Intern who is interested in how people build maps and how our team develops production systems at scale.

You will contribute to tools and workflows that support map data validation, editing, and maintenance across both backend and frontend components.

You will be on-site and will report to the Engineering Manager based in Cluj.

The Critical Tasks You Will PerformYou will apply engineering best practices to write high-quality code and contribute to the quality of the team's tools and services.

You will work with map data and learn how to build scalable full-stack solutions for map-making applications.

You will contribute to the development and improvement of workflows for map validation, editing, and creation.

You will gain hands-on experience across frontend and backend components, including user interfaces, services, and data-related systems.

You will use AI tools in your daily work to improve productivity, support development tasks, and help automate manual testing of map-making tools.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need
Knowledge of Java or another backend programming language, with understanding of core object-oriented programming principles.
Familiarity with frontend basics, including React, HTML, and CSS.Basic experience with SQL, Git, and software testing principles.
Exposure to AI tools that support software development and learning, with curiosity to apply them responsibly.
Good command in English, written and spoken.3 months internship period, 8 hours/day, starting July/August.
