In this context, we are looking forward to hire a dynamic leader for the role of Production Manager.
The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and managing crude oil transportation, as well as preparing crude oil loss reconciliations.
The role includes planning and initiating various operational contracts, following up with PSCM, and closing contractual requirements in SAP; managing all onshore and offshore routine and non-routine production activities, and collaborate closely with the teams for operational planning. The role will also involve coordinating with the Petroleum Engineering department to facilitate well intervention programs.
The incumbent will ensure that plant operations are maintained at optimal capability and in line with OEM parameters to achieve targeted production levels and product quality, while optimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations of oil and gas production, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for operational activities.
- Supervise and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing disruptions.
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, logistics, and procurement, to streamline operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including JV partners, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Planning: Provide inputs for formulating East Coast work program & budget, monitor & review work progress against scheduled work program and submit monthly reports, verify, and authorize the invoice payments in order to deliver production objectives according to approved work program and budget and ensure availability of resources.
- Work-site Activity: Responsible for overseeing all worksite activities, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient oil and gas production.
- This includes managing daily operations, coordinating maintenance schedules, optimizing workflows, supervising field personnel, and ensuring strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards to minimize risks and maximize productivity.
- Performance Measurement and Review: The Head of Production is responsible for establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production efficiency, safety, and operational costs.
- Regularly reviewing performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
- Provides performance reports to senior management, driving continuous improvement in operations.
- Communication and Information: At a site level, an effective communication strategy must be in place that enables open and timely communication of AO strategic business plan objectives, key initiatives, and performance.
- Regular and effective communications by site leaders is required to ensure stakeholders are informed and to drive engagement and commitment.
- Safety and Environment: Responsible for ensuring adherence to Cairn HSE Policies and Procedures.
- Monitor and ensure compliances pertaining to applicable legal rules and regulations.
- Ensure availability of adequate resources for implementation of effective HSE management.
- Drive various HSE and Wellness initiatives to foster HSE culture.
- Energy Management: Oversees energy management strategies, optimizing energy usage across production processes, reducing operational costs, and ensuring compliance with sustainability goals and environmental regulations in the oil and gas field.
- Quality Management: Responsible for ensuring adherence to quality standards in production processes, conducting regular audits, implementing corrective actions, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement to maintain high-quality output and operational excellence.
- Emergency Response: Responsible for developing and implementing emergency response plans, ensuring team preparedness, coordinating rapid action during incidents, and minimizing operational disruptions while maintaining safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coaching and Development: Responsible for coaching and mentoring field teams, identifying skill gaps, providing training opportunities, and fostering a culture of continuous learning to enhance team performance, safety, and operational efficiency at site.
