Role: Project Manager - Manufacturing

Job Description
- Facilitate the identification and daily tracking of tasks and overall project milestones. Project planning combines both waterfall project management methodologies as well as agile methodologies to create a plan that drives measurable progress every 2-3 weeks. Tasks and milestones must be coordinated with Operations, IT, and vendor teams.
- Formalize and execute project communication plan and status reporting. Create monthly executive readout including overall project status, milestone progress, KPI s, financials, risks, and roadblocks. Support communication plans for business units partnering with Global Communications.
- Leverage manufacturing domain expertise to drive quick actions and decision-making aligned with critical stakeholders such as Operations, Business Partnership/PDM, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber and Data Intelligence.
- Identify and manage dependencies between teams and projects to mitigate risks and streamline processes.
- Oversee the implementation of functional IT systems and solutions as specified. This includes ensuring the platforms are designed and configured according to requirements, integrations are implemented, and legacy applications are modified according to plan.
- Monitor IT resource availability and commitment and work with resource managers to reduce risk to project timelines. Support business units with resource management.
- Track all financial activities across the project including planned vs actual, capital vs expense, internal and external spend, hardware, travel, and burn rate.
- Partner with business units and platform vendors to oversee change management activity planning and execution including user training sessions and creating/maintaining training materials.
- Ensure all project artifacts are accurate and maintained throughout the project, including project charter, project and resource plan, risk register, change management plan, communication plan, financials, and key design decisions.
- Final project summary report upon completion.
- Create a program management strategy and communications plan to effectively oversee all Operations-related initiatives to ensure we achieve the strategic objectives identified. Identify opportunities to increase collaboration and ensure task alignment.
