Role Overview
AB VFX Studios is seeking an experienced VFX Project Manager to own production management across our Roto, Paint, Matchmove, and Compositing departments. You will be the single point of contact between internal teams and Management driving schedules, tracking shot progress, and ensuring on-time deliveries. Candidates who can calculate and validate Man-days for Roto, Paint, and Comp will be given first preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all active projects end-to-end scheduling, shot tracking, and delivery across Roto, Paint, Matchmove, and Comp.
- Calculate and validate Man-days for work packages; use estimates to support bidding and resource planning.
- Build and maintain production reports, trackers, and bid documents in MS Excel (advanced level).
- Track shot milestones and artist assignments in Ftrack or equivalent; keep data current at all times.
- Liaise between overseas clients and internal teams relay feedback clearly and manage expectations.
- Escalate risks early; present solutions, not just problems. Support Producers and Supervisors with documentation and delivery co-ordination.

Qualifications
- 3–5 years in a VFX production management role (Project Manager, Production Manager, or Senior Co-ordinator).
- Solid understanding of the VFX pipeline Roto, Paint, Compositing, Matchmove.
- Ability to calculate Man-days across Roto, Paint, and Comp departments.
- Advanced MS Excel skills; hands-on Ftrack experience (or comparable tool).
- Fluent English (mandatory); working Hindi and Marathi for internal co-ordination.
- Proven track record managing overseas client relationships and shift-based workflows.
- Highly organised, deadline-driven, calm under pressure.
- Good to Have
- Working knowledge of Nuke or compositing / tracking software.
- Familiarity with international VFX bid and cost-reporting formats.
- Exposure to ShotGrid, colour pipeline basics (EXR, DPX, LUTs), or on-set VFX workflows.
