Responsibilities
- Engage with users, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to gather and refine requirements
- Design and deliver pragmatic, high-quality software solutions
- Take ownership of end-to-end software development activities
- Collaborate closely with client teams on project delivery
- Challenge existing systems and processes to drive improvement
- Stay up to date with relevant technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- Strong programming experience, including Python (other languages such as C#, .NET, Java or Rust also beneficial)
- Proven ability to deliver software solutions end-to-end
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for technology and working in a collaborative team environment
- Motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of work
- Interest in understanding business problems and applying technology to solve them
- Desirable:
- Experience within financial services (not essential)
- Education:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
