Head of Arabic Department – Elementary and Middle Schoo

ubai Branch of Sharjah American International Schools Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Head of Arabic Department for the Elementary and Middle School levels for the upcoming academic year August 2025.

Requirements

A degree in Arabic Language, and Literature, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching Arabic, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordinator role.

Strong knowledge of Ministry of Education curriculum as well as modern teaching methodologies.

Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficiency in English is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the Arabic curriculum for elementary and middle school levels.

Supervise and support Arabic teachers through mentoring and professional development.

Ensure alignment with MOE standards, international best practices and the yearly inspection visits.

Collaborate with the academic leadership team on school-wide initiatives and goals.

Monitor and enhance student progress in Arabic language learning.
