Position Overview
Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is seeking a highly motivated Investment Intern to join our Equity Investments team in Mumbai for a 6 to 12 months period. This role offers a unique opportunity to focus on private equity investments, encompassing both direct company investments and fund investments. You will report directly to senior deal team members, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence: Track industry trends and maintain internal sector databases to identify emerging opportunities.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial modeling and analysis for potential investment opportunities.
- Due Diligence: Support the deal team with market research, company valuations, and comprehensive industry analysis.
- Documentation: Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for internal committees.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies and fund investments.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing their CA.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Microsoft Excel.
- Tools: Familiarity with financial databases such as Capital IQ or Pitch
