Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Artist Intern role based in Mumbai. The Artist Intern will support the design and creation of sculptures and decorative pieces for corporate gifts, special occasions, home décor, and religious or spiritual themes.

Daily responsibilities include sketching concepts, assisting with modeling and finishing, preparing materials, and helping with packaging and presentation of finished artworks. The intern will collaborate with senior artists to refine designs, experiment with textures and finishes, and maintain a clean, organized studio space.

The role may also involve basic documentation of work, photographing pieces for catalogs or social media, and supporting custom client orders as needed.

Qualifications

• Foundational artistic skills, including sketching, drawing, and basic sculpture or 3D form development.
• Comfort working with various materials (e.g., clay, resin, wood, metal, mixed media) and a willingness to learn new techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow design guidelines and complete fine finishing work.
• Creative mindset with an interest in home décor, gifting, and devotional or cultural art themes.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Mumbai, manage tasks within deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a studio environment.
• Basic understanding of visual aesthetics, color, composition, and proportion.
• Formal education in Fine Arts, Design, Sculpture, or a related field (current students or recent graduates are welcome), or equivalent portfolio-based experience.
• Portfolio or sample work demonstrating artistic skills and interest in sculpture or decorative art (digital or physical portfolio accepted).
