Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Fashion Buyer (Apparel) with proven expertise in the Middle East market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in apparel buying, a deep understanding of regional customer preferences, and the ability to create profitable, trend-led assortments that align seamlessly with brand strategy.
This role requires a strategic thinker with established supplier relationships across the Middle East and international markets, exceptional negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering compelling product ranges that drive both growth and margin.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal buying strategies across Menswear, Womenswear, and Kidswear categories.
- Build commercially balanced assortments tailored to Middle East consumer preferences, cultural nuances, and climate considerations.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategic buying decisions.
- Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) and ensure financial targets for sales, margin, and stock turn are consistently achieved.
- Collaborate closely with merchandising, planning, marketing, and retail teams to align on product launches and promotional strategies.
- Monitor in-season performance and take proactive measures on replenishment, markdowns, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in fashion buying, with a strong focus on apparel.
- Proven experience within the Middle East retail market (GCC experience highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of regional fashion trends, modest wear considerations, climate-driven buying, and cultural preferences.
- Track record of delivering sales growth and margin improvement.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and buying/planning systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field preferred.
