Accounting Team Lead

Job Title: Accounting Team Leader (English & Russian Speaker)Location: Dubai, UAESalary: AED 12,000 – 15,000 per month + IncentivesOur well-established client in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accounting Team Leader to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for a proactive accounting professional with strong UAE advisory experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Russian.

Key Responsibilities· Supervise and review the work of the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of client books and reconciliations· Ensure all client reconciliations are completed, reviewed, and formally approved· Escalate unresolved issues or non-compliance matters to senior management when required· Ensure reconciliation status is accurately reflected in management reports· Act as the first point of contact for internal departments on accounting-related matters· Conduct weekly team meetings and prepare progress reports for the Accounting Manager· Support monthly performance and review meetings with management· Lodge the DMCC audit report required at the end of every financial year.· Monitor FTA portals and ensure all VAT/Corporate Tax updates, filings, and amendments are completed accurately· Handle Corporate Tax (CT) registrations and deregistration’s as required· Allocate and manage workload across team members efficiently· Identify training needs and support monthly team development sessions· Lead onboarding and induction of new junior accounting staffRequirements· Minimum 3 years UAE experience in an Accounting Advisory or Consulting Firm (Mandatory)· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field· Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, FTA regulations, and compliance requirements· Proven experience in supervising or leading an accounting team· Strong communication skills in English and Russian (Mandatory)· Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel is essential)· English & Russian Speaker required.
