About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Senior Accountant to join our finance and accounts team. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and supporting management with accurate financial data and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage books of accounts, financial records, and accounting transactionsaccurately.
- Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, customer reconciliations, and ledgerscrutiny regularly.
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and assist in statutory compliance matters.
- Ensure timely payment of statutory dues including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, andother applicable taxes.
- Assist in preparation of monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities whenever required.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients for payments.
- Verify expense claims, purchase bills, and supporting documents.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
- Monitoring the expenditure with cost Control/reduction in expenses.
- Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and filing of accounting and statutorydocuments.
- Support internal controls and ensure adherence to company accounting policies.
- Handle payroll accounting entries and salary reconciliations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams for smooth financial operations.
- Identify process improvements and contribute towards automation and efficiency inaccounting processes.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Post-Graduation, Accounting, Finance, or related field(B.Com/M.com preferred).
- 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Indian accounting standards.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally ERP, Zoho Books, Busy, or similarERP systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic financial analysis.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting processes.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
