Job Description
Key Responsibilities
To regularly monitor safety standards and procedures ensuring smooth running of daily shifts in safety related matters.
To assist in the implementation of Safety Pillars and ensure compliance with ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) standards.
To conduct routine inspections and gap analysis to identify workplace hazards, assess risks, and recommend preventive measures.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.
To ensure all Health, Safety and Environment equipment are calibrated and maintained to effectively meet emergencies situations.
To advise personnel and ensure training is provided in all safety related matters to all new and existing personnel.
To record and maintain a database of all inspections conducted to follow up and identify corrective actions.
To assist the HSE Manager in investigating accidents or incidents to identify conditions that cause accidents and seek actions to prevent the same.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for employees and contractors, promoting safety culture across the organization.
Conduct fire drills and evacuation exercises as per the schedule and submit report on the gaps identified.
Skills and Competency:
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Good Knowledge in use of Microsoft Applications
Mandatory Requirement of UAE Driving License
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
Ability to work under pressure and influence a safety-first culture.
