Your new role You will report directly to the Finance Manager, playing a key role in delivering timely and accurate monthly management accounts within a dynamic finance team.
Key responsibilities include
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal postings
- Delivering variance analysis against KPIs, budgets, and forecasts
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations with supporting evidence
- Acting as a business partner to various departments across the organisation
- Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Assisting with the year-end audit and statutory accounts
- Delivering insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
- Supporting process improvements and system enhancements

- What you'll need to succeed
- You will be recently qualified (ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA) with multi-site experience, ideally from Retail.
You will have
- 2-3 years' management accounting experience with strong excel skills, including the ability to use pivot tables, lookups, and manipulate large data sets to produce meaningful financial insights.
- You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills are essential, with the confidence to partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the business.
- A proactive, driven mindset and a genuine desire to learn, develop, and take ownership of your work will be key to your success in this role.
