About the Role

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance team by delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis, ensuring compliance, and contributing to ongoing process improvements. Responsibilities will include

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Conducting variance analysis and providing insight to key stakeholders
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Monitoring financial controls and procedures
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy

About You

• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) with a desire to continue professional development
• Solid experience in management accounting, ideally within a fast-paced business
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with both finance and non-finance teams
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with advanced Excel skills
• A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment
