As an Application Production Support Engineer, you will deliver24/7 monitoring, first and second‑line support, and change‑management oversight for critical IT‑infrastructure and applications that run on Control‑M. Ensure continuity (DRP), maintain documentation and act as the technical gate‑keeper for operational changes.
Key responsibilities
- Operational (24 7)
- Monitor IT‑infrastructure and application components via the Control Room.
- Deliver first‑line support and escalate to second‑line for workplace and application incidents.
- Supply and maintain IT workplace equipment (excluding personal smart devices).
- Act as gate‑keeper for operational change management and disaster‑recovery (DRP) execution.
- Ops engineering
- Ensure scheduled deployments are completed on time, fully functional and documented.
- Contribute to detailed run‑books, identify stakeholders and map technical dependencies.
- Keep the Current State Architecture and support documentation up‑to‑date.
- Incident resolution (run mode)
- Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve incidents; document cause, steps and solution.
- Decide, together with the Squad Scrum Master, whether to involve the Incident Manager (iMod).

Skills
- Control‑MCreate and maintain schedules; autonomously manage large migration projects; spot logical errors in job definitions.
- Bash scripting – write scripts from scratch, not just modify existing ones.
- Basic knowledge of AIX, Unix/Linux, Windows Server.
- Basic Oracle / SQL proficiency.
- General Wintel, Unix & Linux concepts.MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Deep log analysis, root‑cause identification across technologies.2nd‑line support experience.

- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.4 years of hands‑on experience with Control‑M scheduling and Bash scripting.
