Opening in 2023, Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction.

The Icon Tower is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

Health and Safety Supervisor

This position is responsible to follow safe work procedures, report unsafe conditions or incidents and be prepared to respond in the event of a workplace injury or emergency. Whether you're a supervisor or front-line staff, be sure to: Understand your workplace health and safety requirements. Inspect equipment and the workplace regularly

What You Will Be Doing

Generate, develop, and implement H.S.E. Plan (Health, Safety & Environment Plan), the Policy & Objective, and other project required Safety measures and control procedures.

Develop and recommend measures on “Worker’s Safety" assurance.

Provide site Safety leadership and ensure facility compliance with Corporate Safety Standards.

Ensure project safety, the policies and procedures are aligned with Governmental Regulations.

Provide leadership and strategic directions for the development of the project.

Monitor & anticipate hazardous and unsafe acts or conditions.

Your Experience And Skills Include

Lead Auditor (IMS): ISO Certification & Audit

Occupational Health and Safety Degree, Diploma & Certificate

Job Hazard Analysis

Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting training

First Aid Training

Confined Space Entry

Bachelor Degree
