Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Consultant to join our growing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of UAE Value Added Tax (VAT), UAE Corporate Tax, and related tax regulations. The candidate must have hands-on experience managing tax compliance, advisory, tax planning and regulatory reporting for UAE-based businesses across various industries.
The Senior Tax Consultant will be responsible for providing expert tax advice, ensuring compliance with UAE tax laws and supporting clients through tax assessments conducted by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
Key Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare, review, and submit UAE VAT returns accurately and within statutory deadlines.
- Manage UAE Corporate Tax registrations, compliance, and return filings.
- Ensure adherence to UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations and guidelines.
- Review financial records and transactions to ensure proper tax treatment.
- Provide expert advice on VAT, Corporate Tax, Excise Tax, and other applicable UAE tax matters.
- Conduct tax health checks and compliance reviews.
- Present tax findings, recommendations, and compliance reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Educational Background
Mandatory Professional certifications such as CA & CPA only will be considered.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, or a related field Preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant UAE taxation experience.
- Proven experience working with UAE-based companies or tax consulting firms.
- Hands-on experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and advisory services.
- Experience dealing with FTA audits and tax assessments is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT Law, Executive Regulations, and Corporate Tax Law.
- Familiarity with Transfer Pricing regulations and documentation requirements.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
