About This Role
This is a specialist Product Manager role focused on Nomia's financial workflows pod. You will own the product vision and roadmap for invoicing and payment-related experiences — including e-invoicing compliance, invoice lifecycle management, and integrations with ERP and AP/AR systems across global markets.
You will bring deep domain knowledge of how finance teams operate, the regulatory landscape shaping digital invoicing worldwide, and the complexity of building compliant, scalable financial products for enterprise customers.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Own the go-to-market and lifecycle management for your specific pod domain
- Research the market and competitors
- Understand customer challenges and pain points, and translate these into problem statements
- Gather and prioritize requirements from across the business, in detail
- Thorough business analysis to develop functional requirements
- Produce clear briefing documentation including personas, user stories, PRDs, etc.
- Leverage the formal design system & liaise with UX designers to ensure intuitive experiences
- Ensure strong communication and total clarity throughout the team
- Liaise with the engineering team for solutioning
- Liaise with the Scrum Master regarding T-shirt sizing and sprint planning (manage the product backlog)
- Collaborate very closely with the pod's QA Lead in the Engineering team
- Internal project management
- Conduct UATEnsure quality documentation exists, write release notes and see features through to deployment
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives and daily standups
- Qualifications/
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field5+ years experience in digital product management, ideally in SaaS or PaaSStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle
- Technical background or experience working closely with software development teams
- Experience with UX/UI principles and customer journey mapping
- Data driven mindset with experience in A/B testing, focus groups and user research
- Excellent teamworking, collaboration and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (PRDs, personas, user stories)
- Skilled and experienced with Confluence, Jira, Figma and various product analytics platforms
- Finance & Invoicing Domain Experience
- Demonstrated experience in B2B invoicing workflows, including invoice creation, approval routing, dispute resolution, and payment reconciliation
- Strong understanding of e-invoicing standards and frameworks (e.g. PEPPOL, UBL, Factur-X/ZUGFeRD, OIOUBL) and their technical implementation
- Familiarity with global e-invoicing mandates and compliance requirements across key markets (e.g. EU Directive 2014/55/EC, ViDA proposals, KSA ZATCA, Italy SDI, India IRP/IRN, France PPF/PDP)
- Experience working with or integrating into AP/AR systems and ERP platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Coupa, Ariba)
- Understanding of tax and fiscal reporting obligations linked to invoicing (VAT, GST, e-reporting) across multiple jurisdictions
- Ability to translate complex compliance and finance requirements into clear, buildable product specifications
