We are hiring a Tanker Operations Executive (Post-Fixture) for crude and chemicals to help fix vessels, most importantly to manage post fixture performance and commercial related activities.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a hands-on operational role focused on post-fixture management, voyage execution, and coordination with charterers, brokers, and agents and reports directly into the Head of Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Post-Fixture Operations:
- Manage all post-fixture tanker operations activities, including voyage tracking and updates.
- Communicate with charterers, brokers, and agents to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor vessel movements, voyage progress, and operational performance.
- Requesting HRA / Guards quotes and binding them in tandem with the insurance team.
- Cargo & Voyage Management:
- Check Stowage plans, calculations and ensure the vessel complies with the charterers and terminal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., IMO, MARPOL).
- Update on the DANAOS system for noon reports and checking the consumptions on daily basis so as to see that the vessel is under the declared C/P limits.
- Voyage P & L performances and variations on fortnightly basis.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Act as primary contact for vessel owners.
- Provide regular updates on vessel performance and operational issues.
- Clear communicator with brokers, charterers, and internal teams
- Cost & Budget Management:
- Monitor and control voyage-related costs (fuel, port charges, demurrage).
- Ensure cost efficiency and adherence to budget.
- Prefunding for Agents including the nomination of charterers and owners' agents at load / discharge / bunker ports after carrying out careful negotiations and appoint them in the DA Desk.

- EXPERIENCE PROFILE 2-3 years in oil tanker operations, focusing on post-fixture activities of advantage Strong knowledge of oil tanker operations, safety, and compliance
- Exposure to product tankers, crude tankers, CPP or DPP trades, chemicals
- Proficient in tanker management software and vessel tracking systems
- Able to manage multiple vessels and voyages simultaneously
- EDUCATION &
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or related field.
