We are an international shipping and maritime company providing reliable and efficient vessel operations worldwide. We are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily vessel operations and monitor voyage performance.
- Communicate with Masters, agents, charterers, terminals, and port authorities.
- Ensure smooth execution of voyages, cargo operations, and port calls.
- Monitor vessel schedules, turnaround time, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and review voyage instructions, reports, and operational documentation.
- Coordinate bunkering, port services, and husbandry matters.
- Monitor compliance with company procedures, charter party requirements, and international maritime regulations.
- Handle operational issues, delays, and emergency situations in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reporting.
- Support cost control and operational budgeting activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping operations or maritime industry preferred.
- Good understanding of vessel operations, port activities, and shipping documentation.
Knowledge of charter party terms and voyage operations is an advantage.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with tanker
- Familiarity with maritime software and reporting systems.
- Sea-going experience is considered an advantage.
