Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Executive Officer (SEO)/ Managing Director to lead our Dubai operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the branch’s overall performance, ensuring compliance with DFSA regulations, managing key stakeholder relationships, and driving the company’s growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with DFSA requirements.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and profitability.
• Maintain strong relationships with regulators, financial institutions, partners, and clients.
• Oversee risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Ensure operational excellence, including internal controls, reporting, and staff management.
• Represent the company at industry forums, networking events, and regulatory discussions.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and motivation to the team.
• Attract new banking partners and identify market opportunities.
• Build and lead a small sales / business development team (“hunters”).

Requirements

• Proven track record in a senior leadership role (Financial services or FinTech will be an advantage).
• In-depth knowledge of DFSA regulations.
• Strong experience in relationship management, operations, or business development in the financial, banking, or fintech sector.
• Understanding of compliance, regulatory frameworks, and partner-bank relations
• Exceptional leadership, a mix of structured thinking, communication skills, and diplomacy - amicable yet professional.
• Ability to take ownership, act independently, and grow companies to a new level.
