The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate analytics expert to join our Auto Underwriter Optimization team.

In this role, you will conduct quantitative analysis, derive insights, and provide scenario-based assumptions that will shape strategic direction and risk management. Your mentorship will also play a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of analytics professionals and fostering connections across our analytics teams.

Under Ally's collaboration with Salesforce, we are developing a comprehensive Underwriting Command Center to enhance operational efficiency. As a Senior Analyst - Advanced Business Analytics, your analyses will inform key business decisions related to this initiative and other underwriting projects.

The Work Itself

In this position, you will drive data-informed decisions by

The Skills You Bring

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in a relevant role.
• Experience in Auto Lending, Banking, or Financial Services is preferred.
• Strong background in analytics is preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Key Skills

• Expertise in Auto Lending and CRM processes.
• Familiarity with analytic processes such as data querying, cleaning, and insights extraction.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of systems and technologies for implementing change.
• Intermediate skills in SQL, Excel, and analysis software.
• Effective prioritization of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Base Pay Range

An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope of the role, work experience, education, and other factors. For this position, the pay range is:

Emerging: 85000

Experienced: 117500

Expert: 150000

Eligible for annual incentive compensation based on performance.
