Role and Responsibilities of Sales Floor Associate

As a team member at Five Below, your primary responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service and aiding in store operations to ensure that the shopping experience is enjoyable and welcoming for everyone.

• Engage attentively with customer inquiries and issues, responding with understanding and expertise.
• Share insights on merchandise, suggest alternatives, and propose tailored solutions that align with customer needs.
• Enhance customer interaction by publicizing store events, promotions, and activities to prompt engagement.
• Approach customer inquiries with courtesy, offering substitutes if necessary.
• Convey updates on merchandise refilling and client comments to the leadership.
• Cooperate with your colleagues to accomplish the targets set for the store and the company.

Qualifications for Sales Floor Associate

• The minimum age requirement for involvement is 16 years old.
• Being available during evenings, weekends, and holidays showcases flexibility.
• Competent in the operation and learning of tech tools such as registers and handheld devices.
• Proficient in customer care and possessing strong communication skills.
• Aptitude for promptly and professionally dealing with challenges.
• Openness to learning through practical on-the-job training programs.

Essential Job Functions of Sales Floor Associate

• Execute cash register operations and manage customer transactions.
• Transfer and organize goods weighing up to 25 pounds and reach shelving that is up to 10 feet high.
• Scale ladders, bend, twist, and lean over while replenishing inventory and providing customer service.
• Collaborate through face-to-face and telephonic conversations with clients, team members, and supervisors.
• Consistently shift between different areas of the store and stockrooms.
• Stay attentive and stand upright for an extended period of time.
• Be willing to adjust to versatile timetables, which may involve working overnight hours.
