- Principal Engineer
- Healthcare Architect
We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer and Healthcare Architect to lead the design, architecture, and development of next-generation healthcare applications using Angular 22 and modern web technologies.
The ideal candidate will drive technical strategy, establish engineering best practices, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that meet healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead frontend architecture using Angular 22, TypeScript, RxJS, and mod-ern UI frameworks.
- Design scalable, maintainable, and reusable application architectures for enter-prise healthcare platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, clinicians, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive adoption of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and re-lated healthcare data exchange protocols.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, security guidelines, and performance optimization strategies.
- Lead technical design reviews, architecture governance, and technology selection decisions.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native platforms.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy, and security require-ments.
- Mentor senior engineers and development teams, providing technical leadership and architectural guidance.
- Drive CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and engineering excellence initia-tives.
Required Qualifications
- 10 – 12 years of software engineering experience with significant expertise in Angu-lar and enterprise web application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular 22, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend architecture patterns.
- Proven experience designing large-scale healthcare, payer, provider, EHR, EMR, or digital health solutions.
- Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards including FHIR and HL7.
- Experience with microservices, REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and regula-tory compliance requirements.
- Experience leading architecture initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare analytics, population health, clinical workflows, or pa-tient engagement platforms.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with modern testing frameworks and enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines.
- Healthcare domain certifications or cloud architecture certifications are a plus.
