What You'll Be Doing
This is a strategic, client-facing role with accountability for programme governance, delivery oversight, value realisation, and stakeholder management across multiple sectors. You will partner closely with Sector Leads, Sales and Client Directors, and Strategic Partners to scope and orchestrate high-impact programmes grounded in product-driven ambition and agile delivery principles.
You will maintain stewardship of a portfolio of programmes, client relationships, and managed revenue, helping drive business growth through programme leadership, outcome-centric planning, and commercial ownership. Internally, you will work with Capability Leads to ensure delivery consistency, reusable playbooks, and robust programme controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Strategy & Ownership
- Sponsor programme strategy and roadmap development to deliver agreed business and customer outcomes across data-driven and technology-enabled transformation.
- Define and steward programme delivery frameworks, governance structures, and product-led delivery playbooks tailored to diverse delivery approaches.
- Translate strategic objectives into phased delivery plans, MVP increments, and outcome-based milestones, ensuring programmes embed non-functional requirements, cost control, and clear KPIs.
- Shape product backlogs and priorities across multiple product domains, aligning to business value, dependencies, commercial commitments, and partner capability.
- Work with Sector and Account Leads to support presales activity, client shaping sessions, and programme qualification, bridging commercial ambition with delivery feasibility and risk appetite.
- Collaborate with strategic alliances to design and scale joint programme offerings, enhancing delivery capability and market presence.
- Provide delivery assurance across critical engagements, including oversight of delivery planning, risk management, dependency mapping, value tracking, and governance evolution.

- Technical Leadership
- Oversee delivery frameworks and solution roadmaps across complex technical environments, ensuring alignment between business need, architecture direction, and product roadmaps.
- Safeguard delivery quality through programme controls: outcome measurement, risk and dependency management, resource planning, communications, and change control.
- Champion agile and product-led delivery, embedding practices such as incremental delivery, human-centred design, value-based prioritisation, and release planning.
- Define and uphold delivery standards across product, engineering, and platform teams, ensuring alignment with internal and industry best practice.
- Work with architecture and engineering leads to ensure programme decisions support scale, resilience, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Track delivery performance across time, cost, quality, and value dimensions, ensuring corrective action plans are triggered when needed.
- Business Development and Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead technical presales and solution shaping, from discovery and client workshops to PoCs, MVPs, and Statements of Work, ensuring each proposal is both commercially compelling and technically sound.
- Partner with Sales, Account Directors, and Sector Leads to qualify opportunities, define pursuit strategies, and position Kubrick’s technical differentiators in client engagements and bids.
- Represent Kubrick externally through thought leadership, including whitepapers, technical showcases, conference talks, and client demonstrations.
- Strengthen and expand strategic alliances with partners such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft/Azure, and AWS, driving co-sell motions, joint offerings, and technical collaboration.
- Commercial Leadership & Growth
- Own and grow a multi-million-pound portfolio of client and solution-based revenue, ensuring profitability and sustainable margin growth.
- Act as senior executive sponsor for key accounts, ensuring delivery success, client satisfaction, and long-term partnership development.
- Contribute to sales growth by originating or supporting opportunities (£1M+ originated; £5M+ supported annually).
- Shape and commercialise Kubrick’s IP and assets, enabling reuse, licensing, or co-sell opportunities with partners.
- Collaborate across practices and geographies to align sector priorities, leverage shared assets, and drive cross-firm synergies.
- Team Development
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary programme and delivery teams, developing capability in planning, governance, agile scaling, and stakeholder management.
- Build communities of practice across delivery management and product disciplines, driving excellence, consistency, and shared knowledge.
- Oversee resourcing of multi-workstream programmes, supporting performance development, workforce planning, and long-term capability growth.
Key Requirements
- Technical:
- Extensive experience delivering complex, multi-workstream technology or data programmes, including 5+ years in senior programme leadership roles within consulting or enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to shape, mobilise, and drive strategic programmes through governance models, benefit frameworks, delivery plans, and dependency structures.
- Strong track record of delivering technology-enabled business transformation, spanning digital, data, AI, or platform change.
- Experienced in scaled agile delivery (e.g. SAFe, LeSS) and product-centric operating models across cross-functional teams.
- Expertise establishing and managing programme financials, commercial structures, resourcing models, and executive reporting.
- Demonstrable experience delivering measurable business outcomes under complexity, regulatory pressure, and shifting priorities.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Strong communicator capable of building trusted relationships with C-suite, senior business stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Experienced managing senior client engagement throughout discovery, scoping, programme assurance, steering, and value measurement.
- Proven success driving cross-functional alignment across global and cross-regional teams.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shaping narratives, and coaching senior stakeholders through delivery milestones and risks.
- Comfortable working in global and cross-regional contexts, aligning delivery and IP with teams across multiple time zones (including US coordination).
