The Quality Supervisor oversees day-to-day quality assurance and food safety operations within the ALL Cilantro stores, ensuring that all products, processes, and practices consistently meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the QA & FS Manager, the Quality Assurance Supervisor do coaching visits and checks, manages non-conformances, and a culture of food safety and quality across frontline operations. Responsible for bridging strategic food safety and quality objectives with practical, daily execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Daily Quality & Food Safety Operations
- Leadfood food safety coaching, pest control activities and sanitation monitoring activities.
- Ensure all critical control points (CCPs) are monitored, records maintained accurately, and corrective actions taken promptly when limits are exceeded.
- Conduct supportive food safety , quality walk-throughs to verify compliance with hygiene, labelling, temperature, and product standards.2. Team Leadership & Development
- Ensure that assigned tasks executed, set priorities, and review daily outputs.
- Conduct onboarding and on-the-job training for new operations members; deliver regular refresher sessions.
- Provide constructive feedback to the QA & FS Manager as needed.3. Non-Conformance & CAPA Management including customer complaints
- Identify, document, and investigate non-conformances; coordinate root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Manage the product hold and release process; ensure non-conforming products are clearly identified and appropriately dispositioned.
- Verify CAPA effectiveness and report status to the QA & FS Manager.4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date food safety records,coaching visits logs, and audit trails in accordance with NFSA.
- Prepare and present weekly food safety performance reports highlighting key trends, incidents, and improvement actions.
- Ensure all SOPs and work instructions are followed; flag outdated documents for review.5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations team to resolve food safety and quality issues impacting service or product consistency.
- Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders on food safety ,quality issues and rejection/replacement procedures.
- Support the QA & FS Manager in preparing for and hosting third-party audits and regulatory inspections.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Vet.
- Medicine, or a related field (required).
- Certifications (required/preferred):
- HACCP certification (required).
- Internal Auditor certification (ISO 22000 / BRC / FSSC 22000) is an advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food quality, food safety, or operations within the food & beverage or hospitality industry.
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity overseeing quality or food safety activities.
- Hands-on experience with HACCP implementation, internal auditing, and non-conformance management.
- Experience in a coffee shop, café, or QSR environment is strongly preferred.
