Social Media and Marketing Manager

About Us

Bar Bagel is a modern bagel and coffee shop with a strong focus on branding, aesthetics, specialty food, and community. We’re looking for a creative and motivated individual who understands modern social media trends and can help bring our brand to life online through content creation, photography, graphic design, and marketing ideas.

We want someone who can create clean, aesthetic, engaging content that matches our vibe and helps grow our online presence.

A large part of our customer base comes from nearby college students, so we’re especially looking for somebody who understands modern college culture, trends, and aesthetics and can help align our brand and content with that audience while still keeping our unique identity.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging Instagram/TikTok/Reel content
• Shoot aesthetic food, coffee, and lifestyle photography/video
• Edit short-form content for social media
• Design graphics, posts, menus, promotions, and marketing materials
• Come up with creative marketing ideas and social campaigns
• Capture behind-the-scenes content in-store
• Help build and maintain a strong brand identity
• Create content that connects with local college students and campus culture
• Stay on top of social media trends and viral food content
• Assist with story posts, promotions, launches, and seasonal campaigns

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with photography/videography and social media content creation
• Skilled in graphic design and editing apps/software
• Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and food/coffee branding trends
• Creative mindset with strong attention to aesthetics
• Ability to work independently and bring fresh ideas
• Portfolio or examples of previous work preferred
• Experience with restaurant/cafe content is a plus

You’re someone who understands modern food and coffee culture online and knows how to create content that feels authentic, cinematic, trendy, and engaging. We’re looking for somebody who can help turn everyday moments in the shop into strong social media content and creative marketing ideas while helping us build a brand that resonates strongly with the local college community.

Compensation

Pay is flexible and based on
