We are a rapidly growing e-commerce brand looking for a driven, highly analytical, and hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to oversee, optimize, and scale our paid channels. Reporting directly to our CEO, you will act as the driving force behind our marketing engine.
We are currently investing significantly in our ad spend and are looking for an expert to step in, take true ownership, constructively challenge our assumptions, and drive meaningful ROI. This is a hybrid role requiring 1 to 2 days per week in our Gaithersburg, MD office.
What Success Looks LikeYour primary goal is to increase our e-commerce revenue while drastically improving our return on ad spend. Your top three success metrics will beROAS Improvement: Optimizing current and future ad spend to ensure highly profitable returns.
Revenue Growth: Driving top-line sales, primarily through our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Shopify store and existing marketplace platforms.
Marketing Efficiency: Achieving better performance with current budgets through deep data analysis, proper attribution tracking, and continuous A/B testing.
A Proactive Executor: You are not purely strategic; you have the hands-on execution capability to jump into Ads Manager and make things happen. You take ownership rather than waiting for instructions.E-commerce Expert: You have proven Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce experience.
You are highly comfortable working within Shopify and understand the mechanics of digital merchandising, promotions, and product launches.
Data-Obsessed: You make decisions based on numbers, not guesses. You know how to track KPIs, identify market trends, and pivot strategies based on performance data.
Adaptable: Whether you come from a scrappy startup or an established corporate environment, you are results-oriented and excited to work directly with company leadership. (Note: A candidate who is purely strategic without execution ability, or narrowly focused on a single channel without broader e-commerce understanding, will not be a fit for this role.
What We Offer$80,000 – $95,000 base salary (depending on experience and track record).
Performance-based bonus structure.
