Our client is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Director of Development and Marketing to lead the organization’s fundraising, sponsorship, partnership, marketing, and brand strategies in support of its mission and long-term sustainability.
This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue generation, expanding external relationships, elevating organizational visibility, and supporting strategic growth. The Director will work collaboratively across teams to align development and marketing efforts with member engagement, events, education, advocacy, and broader organizational priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute multi-year development and fundraising strategies, build and manage donor, sponsor, and partner pipelines
- Identify new funding opportunities, sponsorships, partnerships, and revenue-generating initiatives.
- Oversee marketing strategy, brand standards, messaging, campaign planning, digital outreach, website content, and email campaigns.
- Develop sponsorship packages, manage strategic alliances, track performance metrics and marketing ROI, and provide leadership across marketing, communications, event, and development-related functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, or a related field, along7 or more years of progressive experience in development, fundraising, marketing, communications, sponsorships, partnerships, or related areas.
- Demonstrated success leading strategic initiatives, managing projects across departments, overseeing budgets and reporting, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM, AMS, event platforms, email marketing systems, and reporting tools is preferred.
