This is a hybrid role. At Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Credit & Pricing Strategy Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping how Bluevine evaluates risk, prices credit products, and drives profitable portfolio growth.
This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of risk strategy, engineering, product, and business operations.
You'll partner with leaders across the organization to design, test, and optimize credit and pricing strategies that directly influence customer acquisition, portfolio performance, and business growth.If you enjoy solving complex problems with data, influencing strategic decisions, and building scalable solutions in a fast-paced fintech environment, we'd love to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive Credit & Pricing Strategy
- Develop and optimize credit and pricing strategies that balance growth, risk, and profitability objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve underwriting decisions, customer segmentation, and pricing frameworks.
- Evaluate strategy performance and recommend enhancements based on portfolio outcomes and business goals.
Deliver Data-Driven Insights
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
- Support executive decision-making through clear, data-backed insights.
Improve Processes & Automation
- Partner with Product, Risk Operations, Analytics, and Engineering teams to implement strategy changes within automated decisioning systems.
- Improve existing policies, workflows, and controls to enhance scalability and operational efficiency.
- Help build best-in-class risk and pricing infrastructure for a rapidly growing lending business.
Influence Cross-Functional Outcomes
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Capital Markets, Product, and Operations.
- Take ownership of initiatives that directly contribute to business and portfolio performance.

Required Experience And Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in analytics, strategy, etc.
- SQL, Python, BI and Excel high proficiency
Not Required, But a Plus
- Experience in Financial services (U.S. bank/fintech/line of credit/credit card experience a plus)
