Supermarket Checkout Clerk (Carrefour UAE)

Carrefour UAE is urgently looking for a highly active and friendly Supermarket Checkout Clerk to join our massive hypermarket team in Dubai. Your main job is to sit at the exit counter, scan heavy grocery items quickly, process credit card payments safely, and ensure the cash drawer is perfectly balanced at night.

Job Requirements & Benefits

• Qualifications: Basic high school diploma. Young workers who are naturally good at math, love talking to people, and have very fast hands are deeply encouraged to apply.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of real cash handling experience inside a busy grocery store or fast-food restaurant. You must have a totally clean police record to handle large amounts of company money.
• Technical Skills: Knowing exactly how to use touch-screen POS systems, spot fake currency notes, and replace receipt printer paper rolls quickly. Basic English speaking is absolutely required to greet foreign shoppers.
• Key Responsibilities: Scan barcodes quickly during the busy Friday rush, weigh fresh fruits accurately, pack items carefully into plastic bags, and safely hand over daily cash to the Head Cashier.
