Mold Operator

Operate and monitor the CCM mold area to ensure safe and uninterrupted billet casting operations.

Monitor mold level, cooling water flow, lubrication, and casting parameters to maintain product quality.

Identify and report mold abnormalities, casting defects, and breakout risks, taking corrective actions as required.

Assist in mold changing, setup, inspection, and routine maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.

Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards while achieving production targets. 12th or ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related discipline.4– 10 years of experience in Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) operations in a steel plant.

Knowledge of mold operation, cooling systems, mold powder application, and breakout prevention.

Ability to work in rotating shifts and high-temperature industrial environments.

Strong focus on safety, quality, and operational discipline.
