As a Light Bus Driver (Equipment Operator) you will operate standard motorised and diverse technical equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order to undertake manual and technical activities to support dnata Airport Operations and Customers' requirements.
This includes but not limited to loading and unloading baggage and cargo to and from Systems, ULD, trucks, carts and aircraft or movement of standard motorised and diverse technical equipment (including PBT) for positioning, maintenance and repair.
In This Role, You WillComply with all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment and reporting any safety concerns to the relevant supervisor.
Follow departmental procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and daily operational requirements at all times.
Operate and inspect Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in accordance with training, operating manuals, and assigned responsibilities, ensuring equipment remains safe and serviceable.
Support airside operations by sorting, loading, and unloading baggage and cargo, including both bulk and unitised loads, across aircraft, ULDs, vehicles, and operational systems.
Ensure the safe marshalling and movement of vehicles and equipment around aircraft and within busy operational areas.
Position, organise, retrieve, store, and transfer dollies, trolleys, ULDs, baggage, cargo, and associated documentation to support operational requirements.
Perform ramp operations, including the safe loading and unloading of aircraft in line with load plans to support efficient aircraft turnaround.
Provide passenger ambulance handling support and assist with equipment management activities, including defect reporting, maintenance coordination, servicing prioritisation, and the return of equipment to operations.
QualificationTo be consider for this role, you will have to meet the below requirements:
Must hold a High School degree (Minimum of 10 years of schooling required)Must have 1 - 2 years of experience in Ground Support Equipment and on-job training / Bus Driving Experience Must have a UAE Driving licenseBasic Communication
