Sharjah Airport is actively hiring multilingual Passenger Service Agents to manage high-volume check-in desks, verify travel documents, and control boarding gates.
Core Responsibilities
- Process passenger check-ins rapidly while verifying passport validity, visa requirements, and destination entry rules.
- Weigh passenger luggage accurately and process excess baggage fees using the airport's digital payment systems.
- Manage boarding gate operations, including final headcounts and coordinating wheelchair assistance for elderly travelers.
- De-escalate conflicts with delayed or denied-boarding passengers calmly and professionally.
Mandatory Requirements
- Clearance: Must hold a completely clean legal and financial record to qualify for the mandatory federal CID airport pass.
- Language: Fluency in English is mandatory; additional proficiency in Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, or Russian is highly preferred.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends, night shifts, and public holidays.
