Role Description
You’ll be working with a fast-growing media-tech startup building the future of Vertical Television. We fuse cinematic storytelling with interactive, vertical-first technology, combining proven hit-production expertise with advanced streaming, monetization, and end-to-end platform innovation to create the next generation of mobile content experiences.
We are looking for a highly independent Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong Frontend orientation to join our founding R&D team.
Key Responsibilities
- System & App Architecture: Architect, plan, and lead the development of our high-scale mobile application (React Native) and operational web platforms (React) from a holistic, big-picture perspective.
- Tech Leadership & Mentorship: Act as the technical "go-to" expert and "buddy" for mid-level developers, providing guidance, leading code reviews, and elevating the team's engineering standards.
- Standards & Reusability: Champion strict coding standards, best practices, and a "reusability-first" mindset to ensure a clean, maintainable, and highly scalable codebase.
- Deep App Understanding: Tackle complex performance challenges, optimizing app state management, native bridging, and video rendering with a profound understanding of how mobile applications function.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend engineers to deliver fast iterations of complex features in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with a proven track record as a technical leader or senior architectural authority.
- High Independence & Broad Vision: Ability to see the "big picture", design scalable system architecture, and run with it autonomously end-to-end.
- Mastery of React and React Native, with a deep, comprehensive understanding of mobile application lifecycles, state management, and performance tuning.
- Mobile application authentication, In-App purchases, deep links and user behavior tracking and monitoring.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and scalable component design (Robustness, resiliency and re-usability thinking).
- Experience designing and operating systems at scale, with familiarity in databases (e.g., MongoDB, Firebase) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).A proactive, hands-on ninja who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and loves sharing knowledge.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with video streaming platforms or mobile content ecosystems.
- Familiarity with monetization systems, ad-tech, or in-app purchases (IAP).
- Background in high-growth startups or B2C mobile entertainment products.
