This position serves as a central logistics communication point across operations, drivers, carriers, and the other department to keep routes, service timing, dock access, shipment details, and execution updates aligned. The role supports logistics planning and coordination.
Key ResponsabilitiesPlan and adjust daily internal fleet routes for recovered paper collection.
Prioritize pickups based on service demand, geography, driver capacity, and operational needs.
Coordinate third-party transportation when internal fleet capacity is unavailable or constrained.
Communicate load details, appointment times, and access requirements with carriers and internal teams.
Monitor route and shipment status throughout the day and respond to changes quickly.
Escalate delays, missed pickups, service failures, and access issues promptly.
Coordinate inbound third-party loads to support smooth dock access and unloading flow.
Manage outbound shipment pickups, including dock appointments, loading readiness, and timing.
Work closely with operations to align receiving priorities, dock activity, and material movement.
Partner with the other department to ensure customer updates reflect actual service timing.
Maintain accurate scheduling, shipment, carrier, and service records in company systems.
Identify opportunities to improve route efficiency, dock coordination, and overall logistics flow.QUALIFICATONSDegree in operations management, logistics, business administration, or engineering, depending on the field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics planning within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in planning tools (such as MS Project, advanced Excel) and integrated management systems (ERP/MRP).
High stress tolerance, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills to navigate between the office and the plant floor.
Strong organizational skills, sense of priorities, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative leadership.
Ability to work in variable temperatures.
Forklift experience is an asset.
