- Role Context The Corporate Head of Academics
- Education Strategy will work as part of the corporate leadership team to shape and drive the group s educational vision across all schools.
- The role requires strategic oversight of curriculum development, academic policies, teaching and learning quality, assessment systems, school improvement initiatives, professional development, academic performance data, inspections, and accreditation support.
- The successful candidate will collaborate with Principals, Phase Heads, Heads of Departments, and senior leaders to embed best practices and ensure consistent academic excellence across UK and CBSE curriculum schools.
- Key Responsibilities * Provide strategic academic leadership across all schools under the group, ensuring alignment with the organization s vision, mission, values, and regulatory expectations.* Oversee curriculum development, academic policies, teaching and learning standards, and assessment frameworks across British and CBSE curriculum schools.* Drive school improvement initiatives using internal data analysis, inspection outcomes, academic reviews, and international education benchmarks.* Lead the design and implementation of academic audits, curriculum reviews, teaching quality evaluations, and professional development programs.* Work closely with Principals, Phase Heads, Heads of Departments, and academic leadership teams to embed best practices across schools.* Monitor student progress, attainment, assessment outcomes, intervention impact, and academic performance trends across the group.* Analyze academic performance data to support evidence-based decision-making, accountability, and continuous improvement.* Support new school setups, academic structures, curriculum frameworks, accreditation preparation, and regulatory readiness.* Review and strengthen teaching and learning practices to ensure high-impact classroom delivery and improved student outcomes.* Guide schools in developing effective assessment systems, moderation practices, reporting standards, and progress tracking processes.* Support curriculum innovation, digital learning, student-centered teaching, and inclusive academic practices across different school contexts.* Represent the organization in academic forums, regulatory inspections, accreditation meetings, and education leadership discussions.* Ensure academic planning supports UAE regulatory requirements, inspection frameworks, curriculum expectations, and school improvement goals.* Build leadership capacity across schools through coaching, mentoring, training, and collaborative professional development.* Promote a culture of academic excellence, accountability, innovation, inclusion, safeguarding, and continuous learning.* Prepare academic reports, performance summaries, strategic updates, and recommendations for senior leadership and governance teams.* Collaborate with corporate departments and school teams to ensure academic priorities are supported by resources, systems, and operational planning.
- Ideal Profile * Master s degree or higher in Education or a related field.* Doctorate or NPQH qualification will be preferred.* Minimum 10 years of academic leadership experience.* At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a school group, multi-school environment, or regulatory body.* Proven track record of driving academic excellence and raising student attainment across multiple schools.* Strong knowledge of British curriculum, Indian CBSE curriculum, UAE regulatory requirements, and school inspection expectations.* Experience in school improvement planning, curriculum innovation, assessment systems, academic audits, and teaching quality reviews.* Strong ability to analyze academic data and convert findings into practical school improvement actions.* Experience supporting school accreditations, new school setups, curriculum frameworks, and academic governance.* Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building skills.* Ability to influence, guide, and lead academic teams across diverse educational settings.* Strong understanding of professional development, teacher effectiveness, student progress tracking, and academic accountability.* Strategic thinker with a clear passion for educational excellence, innovation, and measurable impact.* Professional approach to safeguarding, inclusion, regulatory compliance, and student-centered education.
